Vertical Technik Skateramps was founded in 1989 by Paul Heuberger. At the time he was one of the best European Halfpipe skaters. The desire to build better ramps than what was available in Europe was the motivation behind Vertical’s creation.
Being a ramp rider himself, Paul Heuberger began building a ramp for his club. Rapidly, a Swiss skateboard distributor asked him to build a portable one, to make shows in places where there were no skate facilities.
This ramp that is still used in a Skate park today marked the beginning of Vertical’s reputation.
Since this day, it wasn’t possible for VERTICAL to make a distinction between the designs of rental and fix skate facilities.
After years of experience, our goal is still the same: Keep the riders happy.
